You will also become familiar with the main learning challenges that pupils typically face in your subject area.

Practicum and Master’s Thesis (TFM) Module
The Practicum, worth 14 ECTS credits, is a key phase that runs throughout the academic year. It includes preparatory seminars in the first term and 245 hours of face-to-face placement in educational institutions during the second term. You will develop skills for designing teaching units and integrating them into annual planning; you will learn to identify subject-specific learning difficulties and implement effective solutions. The programme includes the practical application of advanced teaching materials, resources and methodological strategies, the subject-specific use of ICT, and adapted assessment processes.
Innovation and Research
This module introduces you to the history and current state of innovation in teaching and learning within your specialism, providing you with an evolutionary perspective on teaching methodologies and pedagogical approaches. You will study educational research methods specific to your subject area and be introduced to educational research based on real-world teaching practice.
You will learn to develop educational innovation projects both in the classroom and at school level, with a particular focus on ICT-based innovation ICT specifically applied to your subject.
