José Manuel Martín Herrero: Digital strategy consultant. With experience in public administration and private companies, he has been responsible for Digital Marketing at ILUNION.
Juan Antonio Sánchez Sáez: Doctor in Sports Sciences, accredited Hired Doctor and Professor of Private University with the recognition of a Sexenio of research and with different works published in the area of knowledge. At a professional level, he has more than 15 years of experience in sport management in different areas of sport.
Maira Ulloa Hernández: Physical Education Teacher and PhD in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, expert in sustainability in the management of sporting events.
María Amarilla: Graduate in Physical Education Teaching and Master's Degree in Management of Physical Activity and Sport Organisations and Facilities, currently Director of Business Development at Volapük Sports Events.
Verónica Barbeta: Teacher of English for Specific Purposes and PhD student in the same field. She has a degree in Translation and Interpreting and a Master's degree in Intercultural Communication, Translation and Interpreting in Public Services. Her teaching and research work focuses on the application of English in professional contexts, the development of specialised communication skills and the creation of specific materials.
Juan José Palos: Graduate in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences from the University of Minnesota and Master in Physical Activity and Health from the University of Minnesota, obtained thanks to the prestigious Fulbright scholarship. He has participated in international conferences, in studies such as the National Fitness Trends Survey and is the author of the book "The Quantifiable Human".
Pathway and entry requirements:
This Degree in Online Sports Management is aimed at students who show an interest in the business world in general and the sports industry in particular, with a desire to have a positive influence on society through sport and to promote the creation of businesses focused on sport, as well as applying technology and digital transformation to the industry.
Thus, you must have the skills to lead people and manage human resources, the capacity for analysis and data-based decision-making, and a clear entrepreneurial vocation. You should also show a capacity for study, a willingness to work and a vocation for the future profession.
They last approximately 1.5 hours and consist of:
