Online dual vocational training:
In accordance with Organic Law 3/2022, a number of significant changes will be introduced to the vocational training system in Spain from the 2024–25 academic year onwards
This transition to the new vocational training regulations, known as ‘Dual’ (a standardised framework for the whole country, except for the order of modules and the teaching load set by each Autonomous Community) affects all first-year courses in any of their formats (face-to-face or online), except for the Higher Vocational Training Course in Dietetics, which remains under the LOGSE training plan, predating the current LOE*

Cross-Platform Application Development (DAM) is an official higher-level training programme that equips you to design, develop and deploy applications for various devices and operating systems, such as Android, iOS and desktop environments.
On the distance-learning DAM vocational training course, you will study subjects such as Programming, Databases, Development Environments, Computer Systems, Data Access, Interface Development, Multimedia and Mobile Device Programming, and Business Management Systems. In addition, you will round off your training with a cross-platform application development project and a work placement.
The main difference between DAM (Cross-Platform Application Development) and DAW (Web Application Development) is their area of specialisation. Whilst DAW focuses on the development of websites and web applications, DAM is geared towards the creation of applications and software for different devices, operating systems and platforms. If you’re looking for a more versatile training programme in software development, DAM can offer you a wider range of career opportunities.
No advanced prior knowledge is required, but it is advisable to have a basic understanding of computing and programming logic. During the course, you will learn from scratch the essential languages and tools for developing mobile apps, software and applications.

To enrol on the DAM vocational training course via distance learning, you must meet one of the requirements set out for higher-level vocational training courses, such as holding a Baccalaureate qualification, an Intermediate Vocational Training qualification, an Advanced Vocational Training qualification or an equivalent qualification. It is also possible to enrol through other routes provided for under current regulations.
Yes. If you have previously undertaken vocational training or university studies in a technology-related field, you may apply for the recognition or credit transfer of certain modules, in accordance with current regulations. Furthermore, UAX has a credit transfer scheme that facilitates academic progression towards university-level studies in the field of technology, optimising your educational pathway.
The distance-learning DAM vocational training programme lasts for two academic years. During this period, you will acquire the knowledge and skills required to develop, implement and maintain cross-platform applications, combining specialised technical training with a flexible teaching approach tailored to online learning.
