At UAX Mare Nostrum, you’ll learn by creating. Our methodology focuses on developing real-world projects from the very first year, combining creativity, technology and teamwork to prepare you for the professional realities of the video game industry.
Throughout the degree programme, you’ll work with industry-leading development tools and engines, such as Unity and Unreal Engine, applying your knowledge to projects that become progressively more complex and closely resemble the production processes of a professional studio.

The University establishes an access process that is synthesized in:
1. Psychopedagogical evaluation of the different aptitudes required of a university student, depending on the studies he/she has opted for and the previous knowledge necessary to successfully complete those studies.
2. Level test in the foreign language chosen by the student.
3. Didactic orientation session on the vocational option chosen by the student.
4. If necessary, personal interview with the student to clear up any doubts that may arise.
In any case, the tests established by the University are not exclusive in themselves, but rather orientative.

Learn alongside professionals who work in video game studios and companies within the sector. Our teaching staff combine teaching experience with a practical and up-to-date understanding of the processes, tools and trends that are transforming the video game industry.
Data space architect and international consultant specialising in enterprise architecture, data governance and artificial intelligence. He has over twenty years’ experience in technology consultancy and is involved in European initiatives to build digital ecosystems based on data sovereignty and interoperability; a pioneering career which he combines with university teaching based on innovation projects and real-world case studies.
Art Director specialising in videogames and digital illustration, graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Malaga. He has directed the art direction of Camper Van: Make it Home and collaborated with studios such as Malapata Studio. Mentor at the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI), he combines visual creation, teaching and art direction, with awards at MálagaJam and design competitions.
Graphic designer, illustrator and graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Malaga, with Masters in Graphic Design, Prepress and Editorial Design from Gauss Multimedia. Specialised in editorial design and visual communication, he has worked as a freelance designer for companies such as Flaticon, combining artistic creativity and technical precision in his projects.
Senior game developer and teacher with more than ten years of experience in production and teaching development with Unity. He has worked in international studios such as Supersolid, Genera Games or Voxel Labs, leading teams and participating in titles for Android, iOS and PC. Co-founder of Aula Arcade, he combines his technical profile with teaching and project management in creative and multidisciplinary environments.
Technical artist and designer specialising in technical art and VFX, with extensive experience in the development of video games for PC, mobile and console in studios such as The Game Kitchen, Fictiorama and Keplerians. Lecturer in the Master's Degree in Video Game Creation at the University of Málaga and co-founder of Málaga Jam, he combines teaching, digital art and technical development in national and international projects.
Game designer with more than eight years of experience in the mobile industry, specialising in game and level design. He has worked on international titles such as Stumble Guys, Monopoly GO! and Tuscany Villa for studios such as Scopely and Homa Games, leading teams in the design and development of innovative game mechanics and experiences.

Studying for two degrees at the same time is a challenge, and we want to support you. If you’re already at UAX and enrol on a second degree programme, you’ll receive a grant towards your booking fee and tuition fees.
If you’re a high-performance athlete, at UAX we want to help you balance your passion with your studies. We offer specific grants that can cover up to 50 per cent of your tuition fees.
If you’d like to continue your studies with us and progress from vocational training to a bachelor’s degree, from one bachelor’s degree to another, or from a bachelor’s degree to a postgraduate degree, we’re here to support you with a grant covering up to 25 per cent of your tuition fees.
If you have a strong academic record, we would like to recognise your talent with a scholarship designed for new students. (Excludes the degree in Medicine).
