The Physiotherapy Degree involves a practice-focused programme, designed for students to obtain a comprehensive and versatile training that allows them to rigorously approach different therapeutic areas, from physiotherapy in neurological or respiratory rehabilitation, paediatrics or geriatrics, to the amateur and high-performance sporting fields.
From the first year, you will acquire a complete overview of your academic development by participating in R+D+i projects, remaining in constant contact with the professional world and gaining an understanding of the latest technology applied to the therapeutic field. Proof of this is our scientific and academic collaboration agreement with NESA, thanks to which our students have an electrophysiology laboratory, to be at the forefront of non-invasive neuromodulation.
As we are committed to quality theoretical and practical teaching at UAX, we have innovative facilities and spaces for acquiring specific skills and abilities:
The Physiotherapy Degree has the Professional Guidance and Employment Assistance Support Office (GAOP), which offers everything you need to do your internships at institutions, encouraging contact with the professional world from the very beginning.
As part of the UAX Physiotherapy Degree, our students carry out over 1,200 hours of internships at leading companies. We have collaboration agreements with over 80 public and private hospitals, clinics, fitness centres and sports clubs, with treatment spaces and facilities covering all specialities. These include:
As a student, you will also have the opportunity to keep up to date with the latest developments in the sector by attending and participating in lectures and round tables. The aim is to get you closer to the reality of the working world and surround you with the expertise of top professionals, with whom you will complement your training in specific aspects of physiotherapy.
Our teaching staff are dedicated to research and as 100% of them combine their work with teaching, they offer an extremely up-to-date and cutting-edge knowledge of the physiotherapy sector.
