GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Introduction

The General Terms and Conditions (GTC) are established for the contractual relationship that has as its object the loading and recharging of the virtual credit balance in order to pay for the services offered by the reprographic service of the Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio. The loading and recharging of the virtual credit balance will be carried out at https://print.uax.es commercial domain owned by Universidad Privada de Madrid S.L., with registered address at Avenida de la Universidad nº1, 28691 Villanueva de la Cañada, Madrid and tax identification number A78518529, and the natural persons who express their wish to use this virtual credit balance loading and recharging service by applying via the Internet, through this website.

Applicable legislation and alteration of the General Terms and Conditions of Business

These GTC are subject to the provisions of Law 7/1998 of 13 April 1998 on General Terms and Conditions of Contract, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November 2007 approving the Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, Royal Decree 1906/1999 of 17 December 1999, which regulates Telephone or Electronic Contracting with general conditions, Regulation (EU) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, Law 7/1996 of 15 January 1996 on the Regulation of Retail Trade and Law 34/2002 of 11 July 2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.

Information on the virtual credit top-up and recharge service

The university offers a virtual credit recharge and top-up service so that users can use the printing, photocopying and scanning services on the XEROX devices distributed by the university. This service can be accessed by users via https://print.uax.es, by entering the username and password to access the virtual campus. The service can also be used by external users, who must fill in a form requesting their name, surname and e-mail address, and define a password in accordance with the university's policy. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the university's privacy policy.

The process for charging and topping up the balance that the user must follow is as follows:

• The user must go to https://print.uax.es, where he/she will indicate his/her username and password to access.
• The user must indicate the balance to be loaded and accept the general conditions of use and contracting.
• Then, at the POS, indicate the information relating to the payment of the charge, credit or debit card number, ccv and expiry date.
• Once the operation has been carried out successfully, the available balance will be shown on the screen.

If any type of incident occurs during the operation, the user should contact reprografia@uax.es. In this way, all the measures within our reach will be taken to correct as soon as possible any possible errors or omissions that may arise in relation to the process of loading or topping up the virtual balance.

Users have a period of 14 calendar days to exercise their right of withdrawal, as established in RD 1/2007, which approves the Revised Text of the General Law for the defence of consumers and users and other complementary laws. With the exceptions set out in article 102 of this Royal Decree.

Prices

The use of the virtual credit top-up and recharge service is free of charge.

Payment

Payment for purchases may be made by Credit or Debit Card: Visa, MasterCard, 4B, Euro 6000.

Refund of the charges made.

Refunds

The amount of the charges made in the reprographic service is not refundable, therefore, the balances not consumed by the users cannot be claimed by them. Notwithstanding the above, if during the process of charging or recharging the balance there is an error in the amount to be charged and this is claimed by the user within 72 hours, the error will be rectified, subject to a written complaint from the user, stating the reason for the refund. To do so, users must write to the complaints mailbox.

• You can make a complaint through our Reprographic Department via the following email address: reprografia@uax.es
• The parties submit, at their choice, to the courts and tribunals of the domicile of UAX for the resolution of conflicts, renouncing any other jurisdiction.

Protection of personal data

UAX undertakes to comply with current legislation on the protection of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the university's policy.

Liability - Litigation - Applicable legislation

UAX cannot be held responsible for non-fulfilment of the contract signed in the event of the unavailability of the service due to force majeure or interruption of the activity for technical reasons.

UAX informs you that the https://print.uax.es website is fully protected by intellectual and industrial property rights, and that any reproduction, communication, distribution and transformation of the aforementioned protected elements is expressly prohibited.
