This programme is designed to develop skills in understanding learning from a neuropsychological perspective, equipping teachers to analyse pupils’ cognitive, emotional and behavioural processes and to apply inclusive educational strategies.

This course is one of the four micro-credentials that make up the Neuroeducation pathway for teachers. If you complete them all, you will obtain a qualification that counts towards your professional development points and which , depending on the regulations in force in each autonomous community, could be worth up to 1 point in competitive recruitment processes.

What will you learn?

The micro-credential ‘Neuroeducation for Teachers: Differential Diagnosis in Education’ is designed to develop key skills for analysing learning from a neuropsychological perspective and applying that analysis rigorously in real-world educational contexts.

Through solid, practical training, teachers will gain a deep understanding of the cognitive, emotional and behavioural processes involved in learning, as well as their impact on pupils’ academic performance and overall development.

Upon completion of this micro-credential, students will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of educational neuropsychology and its application in the classroom.
  • Analyse key cognitive functions, such as attention, memory, language and executive functions, in the context of learning.
  • Identify early warning signs of learning difficulties or possible neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Interpret psycho-educational reports and play an active role in educational assessment processes.
  • Design and implement educational intervention strategies tailored to the diversity of the student body.
  • To participate in coordination and collaborative work with teaching teams, counsellors and families.
