Alfonso X el Sabio University (UAX) and the Organisation of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) have renewed their partnership agreement to promote access to postgraduate studies amongst Ibero-American students. The two institutions are once again joining forces to launch a call for applications for 50 academic scholarships – more than double the number offered last academic year – aimed at citizens of OEI member countries. The aim is to facilitate specialised training in strategic sectors with high demand for talent, contributing to professional development and social impact in the regions involved, with a global perspective.
The call for applications includes a total of 18 online training programmes, spread across two major areas in which UAX has established itself as a leader: Among the qualifications available in Business & Tech, programmes specialising in Cybersecurity, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Energy, Project Management and Organisation, and Financial Management stand out. In the field of Education, candidates may choose from programmes such as the Master’s in Leadership and Management of Educational Institutions, Support for Diversity and Inclusive Education, Educational Neuropsychology, Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, Mathematics Education, Educational Technology and Digital Competences for Teachers, and Educational Innovation. All degree programmes are officially recognised in Europe and Latin America.
The application period will remain open until 5 October 2025. The scholarships will cover 50 per cent of the total cost of the UAX Master’s degree, and the terms and conditions can be viewed by clicking here.
Beyond this call for applications, the renewal of this agreement between UAX and the OEI paves the way for broader collaboration in areas such as research, teacher training, academic mobility and the coordination of university networks across the Ibero-American region. Both organisations will join forces to promote projects linked to the ‘Ibero-American University 2030’ strategy and to move towards a shared model of higher education and innovation.
