The UAX Group has announced the appointment of Beatriz Faro as the new Director of Business Development, International Affairs and Lifelong Learning (LLL), who will also sit on the institution’s Executive Committee. Her appointment reinforces the educational group’s global strategic vision and contributes to its innovative and international development.
In this new role, Beatriz will take overall charge of the UAX Group’s growth strategy, which will be structured around two main strategic areas: Business Development, which will be headed by Miguel Palencia, and International and Lifelong Learning, led by Ana Villalba, whose experience, vision and commitment are key to defining the roadmap and laying solid foundations on which to build.

With a strong international track record, Beatriz Faro brings more than 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector, where she has held senior management positions at Pfizer, including regional presidencies for North America, Europe and Asia. Her career has been characterised by leading business transformation processes, crisis management, commercial growth and the leadership of global teams.
In recent years, she has complemented her executive experience with a strong commitment to corporate governance and innovation, serving as a board member of Faes Farma and MAPS (Medical Affairs Professional Society), and as an adviser to healthcare investment funds.
With her appointment, the UAX Group reinforces its strategic commitment to internationalisation and educational innovation, bringing a global perspective that helps to enrich the experience of the entire university community and consolidate its position as a leading institution in higher education.
