Admission requirements

To access the Master's Degree, it is necessary to comply with current regulations (Royal Decree 822/2021):

• Direct access: Official Spanish university degree, Bachelor's degree or EHEA equivalent.
• External qualifications from outside the EHEA: Verification of the level of education by the university.
• Language: Spanish level B2 (CEFR) for non-native speakers.

UAX reserves 5% of the places for students with disabilities ≥33% or educational support needs.

The master's degree includes 6 ECTS of external academic internships that will immerse you in clinical reality from day one. You will carry out your internship in neuropsychology centres, hospitals and multidisciplinary teams, applying your knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients with neuropsychological disorders.

This real-world experience allows you to develop professional skills in interdisciplinary teams from a multidimensional perspective, integrating the knowledge acquired in the classroom with clinical practice supervised by experts.

At UAX we value your previous experience. If you already have experience or training in the field of neuropsychology, you can apply for credit recognition so that you don't have to start from scratch.

You will be able to validate subjects from the master's degree if you are in any of these situations:

• You have accredited professional experience: If you have worked in clinical neuropsychology, neuropsychological assessment or cognitive rehabilitation, you can apply for recognition of credits for acquired skills.
• You have your own postgraduate qualification: If you have taken a master's degree, expert or university specialist qualification in neuropsychology or related areas, you can apply for recognition of credits for previous training.

The study of validations is carried out on a personalised basis, analysing each case to determine the number of credits that can be recognised.

Quality Assurance System

The UAX promotes the culture of quality among the university community through the UAX Quality System (SIUAX), for which the University Management is ultimately responsible, ensuring that the planning of the system is implemented to effectively meet the quality objectives, the satisfaction of needs, requirements and expectations of customers and interested parties.

The responsible bodies are:

• Governing Council: the highest decision-making body in the academic sphere and responsible for the deployment of improvement in academic processes. It is made up of the Rector, the Vice-Rectors, the Deans, the Secretary General and the Directorate of Student Services. Those responsible for the areas of Talent and Technology also participate.
• Faculty/Centre Board: body for monitoring the deployment of academic processes at faculty level. It is made up of the head of the faculty, the heads of studies of the degree programmes and the quality coordinator.
• Degree Monitoring and Improvement Committee (SIM): responsible for ensuring academic quality and compliance with the commitments made in the programme report. It meets twice a year. Composition: Head of Studies, two lecturers, student representative, degree quality coordinator, VREC quality manager, other guests.

This organisational structure channels a bidirectional communication of the different improvement actions that allow and ensure the construction of the quality culture in the University.
