And how are we going to train you in these competencies in the UAX nursing degree?

• You will be trained in the Virtual Hospital and with advanced simulation: a recreation of the rooms and dynamics of a real hospital, so that you will be immersed in the professional reality from day one.
• Experiential pre-clinical practice: you will deal with all kinds of clinical situations, rehearse in areas such as operating theatres, intensive care units, emergencies, hospitalisation, admissions, etc. and much more. You will acquire clinical reasoning, train skills and abilities and work on patient communication, assertiveness, empathy, understanding and teamwork in order to improve the patient's experience.
• Clinical internships: you will do more than 2,300 hours of internships in social and health care centres, first level hospitals and primary care centres. We have agreements with: Clinica Asturias, Clinica Begoña, Hospital Ribera Covadonga, Grupo Lares, Grupo Domusvi, SEKUENS, FINBA, CSIC and biosanitary companies.
