Admission criteria and tests:
The University establishes an access process that is synthesized in:
1. Psychopedagogical evaluation of the different aptitudes required of a university student, depending on the studies he/she has chosen and the previous knowledge necessary to successfully complete those studies.
2. Level test in the foreign language chosen by the student.
3. Didactic orientation session on the vocational option chosen by the student.
4. If necessary, personal interview with the student to clear up any doubts that may arise.
In any case, the tests established by the University are not exclusive in themselves, but rather orientative.

A reference cloister
PhD Cum Laude in Health Sciences and Diploma in Nursing, with postgraduate training in Research, Education and School Health. With an extensive teaching, research and healthcare career, she has worked in emergency, critical care and oncology units, as well as at the Biomedical Research Institute of Malaga (IBIMA). She is currently Head of Studies and lecturer of the Degree in Nursing at UAX Mare Nostrum.
PhD in Sciences (Cellular, Molecular Biology and Neurosciences) and BSc in Molecular Biology. Researcher at IBIMA-BIONAND and lecturer on the Nursing and Dentistry degrees at the UAX, her work focuses on lipid metabolism, nutrition and reproductive health. Accredited by ANECA, she has more than 20 indexed publications and experience in international research and scientific dissemination projects.
Graduate in Nursing and Master in Health, with specialisation in Counselling and Psychological First Aid. Nurse in the ICU of the Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Victoria, he is an instructor in Clinical Simulation and Life Support by the ERC and NAEMT. He combines his healthcare work with teaching and health dissemination through professional networks.
Graduate in Nursing and Graduate in Audiovisual Communication, with more than 30 years of experience in cardiology at the Hospital Costa del Sol. He is a PhD student in Health Sciences, deputy director and member of the Scientific Committee of the Spanish Association of Cardiology Nurses, and author of several award-winning publications on research and dissemination of cardiovascular care.
Degree in Medicine from the University of Malaga, with specialisation and Master's degree in Ophthalmology, and research stay at the Paul-Flechsig-Institut für Hirnforschung (Leipzig, Germany). With more than ten years of experience in the Andalusian Health System, she combines her clinical work with teaching at CESUR Malaga East and the University of Malaga as a clinical tutor and ECOE examiner.
PhD in Psychology with a Master's degree in Health Psychology and specialist in Contextual Therapies. With more than 10 years of teaching experience in international universities and teacher training, he combines clinical practice as a health psychologist with research, authoring articles in international journals and co-authoring book chapters, as well as participating in conferences and scientific committees.
