Learn about the latest advances in the field of menopause to manage your patients properly.

Menopause initiates a stage of life known as climacteric. Although it is not a disease, it causes, in most women, bothersome symptoms that alter social and work dynamics. The data published in the WHI study led to the abandonment of hormone therapy being accompanied by the closure of the Menopause Units that had existed up to that time, which meant that training in this field was practically non-existent in our country, both in the area of Gynaecology and Obstetrics and in Family and Community Medicine.

What will you achieve with this expert?

  • In-depth knowledge of the physiology and pathology of the Menopause and its current clinical management.
  • Obtain fundamental knowledge of the latest advances made in the field of the menopause and the repercussions of hormone deficiency in women.
  • Training in the appropriate handling of the terminology and basic physiology of the Menopause.
  • Analyse and critically evaluate the different diagnostic and therapeutic methods used in daily clinical practice, both in the transition to the menopause and in the early and late postmenopause.
