(ii) Any courses selected by the STUDENT may be removed if the STUDENT no longer wishes to purchase all or any of them. If, on the other hand, the STUDENT wishes to proceed with the purchase of the courses, they must read and expressly accept these General Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy.

Furthermore, the STUDENT declares that they are of legal age and have sufficient legal capacity to enter into contracts acting in their own name and right or, where applicable, that they have the express authorisation of their parents and/or legal guardian(s) (in which case they must also provide the details and supporting documentation evidencing this). The UNIVERSITY is at the forefront of technology and uses technological tools and digital resources in the classroom that enable the live streaming and recording of classes taught on our programmes, as applicable, to which the STUDENT, by virtue of their status as a student, is deemed to have given their express consent. This entails the recording of both the lecturer and the students present in the classroom in order to capture their contributions and participation. Access to the live stream and the recording is restricted to students via a portal that requires login credentials (username and password) for access.
Regardless of the services and technological tools offered by the University, the STUDENT declares that they are aware of and accept, in all cases, that they must have their own minimum IT equipment for personal use for the purposes of their studies

The UNIVERSITY reserves the right not to run degree programmes that do not reach a minimum number of enrolled students necessary to ensure the programme runs smoothly; in such cases, the STUDENT may choose either a full refund of the fees paid or to enrol in another academic programme (with the STUDENT paying any difference in fee between the two programmes, or the UNIVERSITY refunding the difference should the newly chosen programme be cheaper than the previous one). Should the programme not commence due to the minimum number of students required to form a class not being reached, the UNIVERSITY shall notify the STUDENT as soon as circumstances permit. Cancellation of the degree programme for this reason shall not entitle the STUDENT to any claim for compensation and/or damages in addition to the refund of the amounts paid, and the STUDENT hereby expressly waives the right to take any legal action on this ground.
The UNIVERSITY reserves the right to change the campus at which the degree programmes are taught should this be necessary, for organisational reasons, to ensure the smooth running of academic activities; the STUDENT hereby expressly waives the right to take legal action for compensation and/or damages that may have been incurred. Furthermore, the UNIVERSITY shall allocate study periods and timetables in accordance with the academic requirements set out by the academic organisation of the various degree programmes.
The price of the Products offered by the UNIVERSITY via the Website is indicated alongside the description of each course and is always displayed in the official currency of the European Union, the Euro (€).
7.1. Prices.
The current price of the courses offered by the UNIVERSITY shall be that indicated at any given time on the Website alongside their description; these prices are publicly available and may be viewed at any time.
The price shown is, in all cases, the final price, and expressly includes Value Added Tax (“VAT”) and any other applicable charges. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the final price shall include any applicable surcharges or discounts, costs passed on to the STUDENT, and additional charges for ancillary services and payment methods, amongst others.
All prices published on the Website include applicable taxes, unless expressly stated otherwise. At the time of purchase, the STUDENT will be informed of the total price, including taxes and, where applicable, any additional charges.
In any event, all these amounts will be shown to the STUDENT in a breakdown during the booking process.
7.2. Payment and invoicing.
Once the STUDENT has purchased the products and services and made the corresponding payment, the UNIVERSITY will send the STUDENT an email containing all the information relating to the products purchased, their price, the applicable taxes, as well as the duration of the contract, the procedure by which the STUDENT may cancel the products, and any other relevant matters relating to the contract process.
In all cases, online payments will be made via the Website through a service provided by an external financial institution, which will always be hosted on a website using the secure SSL protocol. To verify this, the STUDENT must check that the web address of the page from which they are making the payment begins with https://.
In any event, the sale of the products shall only be deemed to have taken place once the UNIVERSITY has received confirmation of payment and has sent the purchase confirmation to the STUDENT. Until that point, there shall be no contractual obligation between the UNIVERSITY and the STUDENT. If, for any reason, the transaction is declined by the relevant bank, or if the full amount corresponding to the cost of the products (including handling charges and bank transfer fees) is not provided, the purchase will be suspended, and the STUDENT will be informed that the transaction has not been completed.
Once full payment has been received, the UNIVERSITY will issue the invoice for the purchase made. The STUDENT may request that it be sent to them or access it via email at: factu@uax.es. If the STUDENT wishes to receive a paper copy of the invoice, they may contact the UNIVERSITY, stating the postal address to which the invoice should be sent.
Furthermore, in accordance with current legislation, the UNIVERSITY cannot subsequently amend the invoicing for sales made. Consequently, the invoice will be issued in the name of the individual purchasing the products; therefore, the STUDENT must ensure that the order is placed under the correct name. Duplicate invoices cannot be issued for sending to third parties, nor can they be issued once the guarantee period has expired.
The course fee covers tuition. The following are not included in these amounts and must therefore be paid for separately by each student:
· Travel expenses.
· The purchase of personal equipment.
· Books, stationery and IT supplies.
STUDENTS who may be eligible for discounts or academic grants must provide the UNIVERSITY with proof and evidence that they meet the requirements for the applicable discounts, as well as the relevant application and award of the grant in question (whether it is the first award or a renewal).
The UNIVERSITY may refuse to issue degrees and certificates if the student has outstanding payments, until such time as these have been settled.
A STUDENT enrolled at the UNIVERSITY may exercise their right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of payment of the enrolment fee, provided that the academic programme in which they have enrolled has not yet commenced, in which case the STUDENT shall not be entitled to a refund of the amounts paid (in which event, the provisions regarding cancellation of enrolment by the STUDENT set out in clause 7 above shall apply). For these purposes, the STUDENT gives their express consent to the fact that, for reasons of academic organisation and the proper delivery of the academic programme, the provision of the contracted teaching services may commence before the end of the 14-calendar-day period.
The STUDENT must notify the UNIVERSITY (via the UAX Admissions Office) of their intention to exercise the right of withdrawal in a verifiable manner, within the aforementioned period, using the standard form provided to them and/or available from the UAX Admissions Office.
Once the STUDENT has correctly and verifiably exercised their right of withdrawal, the UNIVERSITY shall refund the amount paid by the STUDENT within a maximum of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt of the relevant withdrawal request, at which point the STUDENT’s enrolment and access to the UNIVERSITY’s services shall be cancelled.
