City of Málaga UAX Mare Nostrum Scholarships

The “City of Málaga UAX Mare Nostrum Scholarships” programme is an initiative of Málaga City Council and Alfonso X el Sabio Mare Nostrum University to support students registered as residents of Málaga.

We offer free tuition for undergraduate and postgraduate courses to those who demonstrate academic excellence and continue to meet the criteria that led to their scholarship throughout their academic studies.

Regular call for applications

Applications must be submitted by 30 June 2026 inclusive.
On 14 July 2026, the provisional list of scholarship recipients will be published; this will be subject to the submission of results from the Baccalaureate assessment test for university entry, should these not have been provided previously.
24 July 2026 is the deadline for submitting these results to the email address becasayuntamientodemalaga@uax.es .
On 31 July 2026, the final list of scholarship recipients will be published.

Extraordinary call for applications

Applications must be submitted by 20 July 2026 inclusive.
On 24 July 2026, the provisional award of scholarships will be published; this will be subject to the submission of results from the Baccalaureate assessment test for university entry, in cases where these could not be provided previously.
1 September 2026 is the deadline for submitting these results to the email address becasayuntamientodemalaga@uax.es .
On 8 September 2026, the final list of scholarship recipients will be published.
