The Quality Policy of UAX Mare Nostrum is the reference framework to articulate the culture of quality and continuous improvement in the activities carried out in the fields of teaching, research, knowledge transfer and management of the entire educational community, derived from the Mission of UAX MN.

To deploy this policy, it has a Management and Quality System, certified by ISO 9001:2015, based on the improvement of management, transparency, participation and co-responsibility in decision-making, and in this sense, the following general principles are established:

- To generate an official university training offer of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, and lifelong learning, which responds to the needs of society and business.

- To ensure a learning model that fosters the development of the competences and skills necessary for professional and personal performance, based on the UAX MN values: Student at the centre, excellence, integrity, innovation and collaboration.

- To offer practical and applied training, through close collaboration with professionals and companies from different sectors of activity, which favours complete learning experiences and fosters employability.

- To consolidate our educational model in democratic values, human rights and fundamental rights, promoting the principles of equality and non-discrimination of different groups.

- Promote and raise awareness among the entire university community about the fulfilment of the Sustainable Development Goals.

- To increasingly and jointly cultivate research and knowledge transfer in different disciplines.

- Develop a culture of applied research that facilitates and stimulates excellence, creativity and integrity to face the challenges of the future through a multi-annual research strategy that will be reviewed annually.

- To rely on the talent of people, offering continuous and relevant training and information for the correct development of their activity.

- Encourage continuous improvement through participation and co-creation among the different members of the university community.

- Promote the culture of quality and continuous improvement, articulating the systematic evaluation and analysis of results for decision-making.

- To place the student at the centre, analysing the feedback of their experience at the University that allows us to identify and implement improvement actions that have a positive impact on the university community.

- Strengthen compliance with the requirements of the Management and Quality System based on the periodic review by the Management to guarantee a robust, effective and efficient system for the management and improvement of the University.

- To inform and involve the UAX MN educational community with accurate, accessible and updated information on the activity of the University.

The different interest groups of the University have participated in the elaboration of this policy.

UAX MN undertakes to implement, periodically review, disseminate and keep this Quality Policy up to date and to disseminate it to all the University's stakeholders. Finally, the Administrative Body of the Alfonso X El Sabio Mare Nostrum University undertakes to manage the technical, material and human resources available to make this Quality Policy a reality throughout the university community.
