Welcome Day 26/27
On 21 September, we look forward to welcoming all first-year on-campus students to the Villanueva de la Cañada campus for a welcome event to mark the start of the 2026–2027 academic year .
You’ll get to know the Villanueva de la Cañada campus, meet your new classmates and get to know the whole UAX team who will be supporting you over the coming years.
You’ll start the day with a joint information session organised by your faculty, followed by a specific session tailored to your degree programme, where you’ll be told everything you need to know about this stage of your studies at UAX.

Afterwards, your buddies – students from higher years – will guide you on a campus tour of the main facilities, so you can immerse yourselves in the university atmosphere right from the start.
The day will end with a party featuring a DJ in the central corridor of the campus, opposite Building A, where there will also be several food trucks.
If you have any questions, there will be information points at the main entrance to Building A to answer any queries you may have on your first day.
