We created this innovative programme in response to the growing needs of society, where there is an increasing demand for professionals with training oriented towards sport and health.
We structure the double degree as follows:
You will receive basic training where you will obtain all the general knowledge of subjects related to sport and its relationship with the human body. In addition, you will attend more specific training courses that respond to the demands of the profession, such as sports management, IT, research and legislation.
For the practical-clinical training, you will take part in on-site nutrition laboratories in innovative facilities where you can put your knowledge to the test to become a nutrition professional capable of improving people's quality of life through professional nutritional management based on personalised nutrition, the future of the profession:
We also have an agreement with health centres to complement your training from the second cycle onwards.
You will learn in modern facilities equipped with state-of-the-art material, both on our campus in Malaga and thanks to our collaboration with the main sports schools and facilities in the locality, thanks to our internal agreements with the main players in our local sector, such as the Ciudad Jardin Sports Centre, Ciudad de Malaga Athletics Stadium and INACUA.
In addition, you will have access to a nutritional consultation and bioimpedance classroom. This classroom has the best body analysis technology (Inbody 770) and a specific environment for your training, where we will role play client-nutritionist with a subsequent analysis recorded on video that will make you improve exponentially in your training as a future professional.
As part of the Double Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and the Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, we provide you with everything you need to undertake your work placements and connect with organisations, so that you can engage with the professional world right from the start.

Studying for two degrees at the same time is a challenge, and we want to support you. If you’re already at UAX and enrol on a second degree programme, you’ll receive a grant towards your booking fee and tuition fees.
If you’re a high-performance athlete, at UAX we want to help you balance your passion with your studies. We offer specific grants that can cover up to 50 per cent of your tuition fees.
If you’d like to continue your studies with us and progress from vocational training to a bachelor’s degree, from one bachelor’s degree to another, or from a bachelor’s degree to a postgraduate degree, we’re here to support you with a grant covering up to 25 per cent of your tuition fees.

The Double Degree in Physical Activity Sciences + Human Nutrition and Dietetics has a duration of 5 years and 422 ECTS.
By studying the double degree in CAFYD + Human Nutrition and Dietetics you will obtain specialised training in the field of sports training, nutrition, sports performance and health.
Through a practical approach (60% of the degree) that will allow you to acquire the necessary skills for your professional development.
