The Master's Degree in Conflict Prevention and Mediation responds to the need to improve coexistence and well-being in the classroom. It prepares you to identify and address conflict situations with a human and transformative approach, applying strategies for prevention, emotional management and pedagogical accompaniment. Through real-life situations, you will learn to intervene in cases of bullying, foster positive climates and provide emotional support to students and teachers.
The use of technology has intensified forms of school violence such as cyberbullying, sexting, grooming and gender violence among adolescents. This master's degree prepares you to identify and address these realities with a preventive and up-to-date approach, and to work as a Welfare Coordinator and Educational Mediator.
Through a flexible methodology, based on real cases and collaborative work, you will apply what you learn from the start. In an educational context marked by the increase in bullying and mental health problems, the demand for specialised professionals has also increased, both at regional and local level, as well as by international organisations such as UNESCO and the WHO.
Throughout the programme, you will develop the knowledge, skills and competencies necessary to promote well-being and coexistence in schools. You will learn how to identify and prevent school conflicts, as well as how to intervene effectively through mediation techniques.
This master's degree is aimed at professionals in the education sector, in any of its stages (Pre-school, Primary, Secondary or Baccalaureate), with a strong motivation to improve coexistence and educational well-being. The programme is designed to improve the ability to prevent and resolve conflicts in different educational environments.
