Higher Online Technician in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control

Dual training in virtual mode:

Based on the Organic Law 3/2022 from the academic year 24-25 different significant novelties are introduced in the Vocational Training system in Spain.

• Virtual DUAL Methodology: Those students who take a distance vocational training course will concentrate the internships in a single period of 500 hours in the second year. They will be able to access them after passing 30% of the professional modules and having a favourable report from the teaching staff.

_{^{This changeover to the new Dual VET regulations (a standard version for the whole country except for the order of the modules and the teaching load set by each Autonomous Community) affects all first-year courses in any of their modalities (face-to-face or virtual) except for the Higher Cycle in Dietetics, which remains in the LOGSE training plan, prior to the current LOE*.}}

In the VET in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control, you will complete your online preparation with compulsory classroom work experience as part of the Workplace Training module (FCT). During this period you will be able to apply all the knowledge you have learned in a real work situation. In addition, you will develop professional skills and learn first-hand about the processes that govern the working environment in the sector.

Our students will have the opportunity to carry out internships in top-level laboratories, companies and entities, in order to gain professional experience and applied knowledge of what they have learned during their training.

You can access this Higher Level Training Cycle if:

• You are 18 years old or you turn 18 in the year in which the training course begins.
• You are over 16 years old and you are registered as a worker, you are a high-level sportsperson or you have an illness, physical difficulty or dependence that prevents you from attending the training cycle in person.

In addition, you must have at least one of the following academic qualifications:

• Baccalaureate (LOE or LOGSE) (Recommended baccalaureate in science and technology).
• Specialist Technician or Higher Vocational Training Technician Diploma
• Intermediate Vocational Training Technician's Degree
• Vocational Training Cycle or Intermediate Degree
• University Degree
• COU or Pre-university Certificate of Completion
• Document that proves that you have passed the 2nd year of any modality of the experimental Baccalaureate.
• Certificate of successful completion of the entrance exams to higher level training cycles.

To study the Higher Degree in Analysis and Quality Control, you need to be 18 years old or turn 18 in the year in which the training begins, or over 16 if you are registered as a worker, high-level sportsperson or have a disability. In addition, you must have one of the following academic qualifications: Baccalaureate (preferably in science and technology), Intermediate Vocational Training Technician, Higher Technician, University Degree or have passed the entrance exams to higher level training cycles.
